What is blind date with a book ?
Blind date with a book is a fun and interactive way to encourage reading by wrapping books in paper and providing hints about their content. Participants choose a book based on these hints, adding an element of surprise to their reading experience, so what do we need from you ?

We are after any donation of books new or pre loved , wrapped up and with with three words to describe the story plus if it’s adult / teenager/ kids books , any donation then please bring into pre school , so we can get them ready for our craft Fayre on the 20th November . Hopefully this is a great way for us to share books that we have already read or just no longer want . Then come along for cuppa and a piece of cake and purchase a new book to enjoy .

What a fantastic week we’ve had with our sponsored walk event the children have walked just over 27,171 steps throughout the week with just Tomorrow to go , we have managed to map most of this beautiful village , promoting an awareness of where we live , the community we are part of , including retail , residential and the farming community , which leads us nicely into a big part of of curriculum this term which is harvest and farming . It’s also been a great way to promote road safety . All in all we’ve had an amazing week . Please remember to bring in all sponsorship money by the end of next week please , all money raised will be going into resources for our beautiful pre school . We will let you know our finally number of steps after tomorrow. Again thank you for supporting us .
